There’s an ancestral connection between body and soul, just as between land and sea. It’s hard to explain, but easy to get. When we think about Stone Island we think about the garment and the process that led to it. The dichotomy is real, and is definitely a recurring topic in such an example of mindset longevity. Stone Island impacts culture through research and development applied to garments since decades, and we acknowledge that with a meaningful ode to its deepest values.

After portraying the Marina range in everyday sea life during the last season with brand’s favorite and PAN records founder Bill Kouligas, we flew into the darkest northern city Blackpool (UK) to meet the gods of body and soul experimental craft. We got inspired by The Stone Roses anthem to title this trip into our knitwear selection of the brand. Knit Adored visual tale sees artist Blackhaine and lads in again everyday darkness life in familiar yet rough landscapes of the city by the sea.

Directed and shot by Manchurian new wave director Rory A Wood, with the original score by Blackhaine, the short movie is pure climax. A disturbing and hectic set of scenes that lead to calm. Dichotomy is very tangible, and contrast - our mantra - even more.

I don't need to sell my soul, he’s already in me. (The Stone Roses, 1989)
