The third edition of Slam Jam's ongoing research project to define the concept of the ultimate uniform follows a grunge-inspired theme which was teased out with the Kurt Cobain-inspired Converse Chuck 70 last month.
Lifting direct inspiration from this 1990s aesthetic and with the aim to instigate proactive reactions to mainstream contexts, the third collections items are fittingly mismatched to complete the ultimate punk "uniform".
It includes a Commando Knit Mohair Sweater and a Check Shirt, incorporating different treatments. The Commando Knit Mohair Sweater draws inspiration from an iconic Seditionaries Knit worn by Johnny Rotten in the 1990s and features vivid intarsia stripes. The bleach-washed Check Shirt is embellished with raw cut details around the sleeve, collar and bottom.
Part of this third collection is also the Slam Jam x Levi's 501® Custom Pants, manufactured in limited quantities.
The (Un)corporate Uniforms Drop 3 is exclusively available online and in store.
